1979: Carnoisseur Brand Launched

The company was originally formed to manufacture and sell, by mail order, tailored car mats.

1982: First Carnoisseur Catalogue

Our first catalogue launched at the London Motor Show, Earls Court.

1983: Catalogues Nationwide

We began selling our cataloughes through WH Smith and other leading newsagents.

1986: First Store Opens

The first Carnoisseur store opens in Northampton.

1993: First Franchised Store

Bedford saw the opening of the first franchised Carnoisseur store.

1996: First NI Franchise

The first Northern Ireland franchise opened.

1998: Online Store

The first online Carnoisseur store opened for business.

1999: Record Turnover

Store in Northern Ireland becomes the first individual shop to exceed £1 million turnover PA.

2006: Award Winners

Carnoisseur wins the CAT Retailer of the year award.

2008: New Sister Company

Our sister company Carnoisseur Leasing formed to lease vehicles from retail outlets.

2010: Concession Outlet

The first Carnoisseur 'concession' outlet opens in Blackpool.

2011: Master Franchisee

Ryan International becomes the Carnoisseur Master Franchisee for the whole of Ireland.

2012: Further Concessions

Further Carnoisseur concessions are opened in the UK and Ireland. The total number of Carnoisseur outlets exceed 20 for the first time.

2014: Online Revamp

The new website is launched brining online prices to the high street along with fitting facilities, all under one brand.
